About The Green House
The Green House has been in our family for over 25 years. The Green House features a 50 ft. private beach on Lake Huron in a quiet residential area. The Green House actually faces majestic Lake Huron affording picture perfect views of freighters and boaters on the lake. You can view the lake from the Master Bedroom, Living Room and porch of the house. In addition, the gentle sounds of the lake rolling in have the power to soothe even the most frazzled. You’ll wonder why you didn’t do this sooner!
The Green House comes fully furnished except for bed linens and towels. So that you might enjoy The Green House’s quiet solitude, it does not have a telephone, however, the house does feature Cable TV if you wish to watch on unfortunate days of unfavorable weather. In consideration to our future guests, we do request that The Green House remain Smoke & Pet Free.

As The Green House is located approximately half way between Port Huron and Lexington, both on Lake Huron, there are many attractions at your disposal!
The town of Lexington is a small, quaint village with many attractions. The downtown area is great for an afternoon of strolling into unique shops, including dining options such as restaurants overlooking the beach, a public beach, a post office, beach rentals (boats, skiing, etc.), book stores, general stores, outfitters and other unique shops! There are also many summer festivals, including music, arts and crafts, fireworks, viewing of the Port Huron-Mackinac Sailboat Race, beach festivals & car shows.

However, if you need to purchase grocery items, wish to dine in a more commercialized setting or make a visit to a shopping mall, Port Huron offers it all! Port Huron is a more commercialized city featuring popular restaurants, a shopping mall and grocery stores among other shopping attractions. Port Huron also offers a State Park and a public beach - however The Green House includes a beautiful private beach for your enjoyment!
Both Lexington & Port Huron are an equally short drive from The Green House!
